TRAVEL DIARIES: 3 Reasons You Should Visit Vermont During Fall

When you think of Vermont, winter is probably the first season that comes to mind, after all, the state is known for its laid-back and sleepy ski town vibe. Well, I’m here to tell that Fall is actually the best season to visit Vermont. After spending 3 full days in Vermont I’m convinced that Vermont is perfect for girl/guy bonding, exploring and photographing. I’m so thankful that Catherines invited myself, Darlene from SuitsHeelsandCurves.com and Allison from Curvygirlchic.com to experience the Fall Foliage, they were great host and kept us chic and cozy in the latest fall gear. Today I’m here to share what we got into along with 3 reasons you should visit Vermont during Fall.

1. Fall Foliage

Vermont’s scenery is so beautiful and peaceful especially during fall.  The colors of the autumn leaves in Vermont are famous throughout the world. Vermont offers Green mountain vistas, valley panoramas, and sparkling lakes and the views are amazing. We stayed in a beautiful AIRBNB that had great views of the land. So much Fall Foliage going on!

 2. Active Adventures

When it comes to outdoor adventures during fall , hiking is at the top of the list. Although I didn’t get a chance to hike while in Vermont I did get to chance to go apple picking at Shelburne Orchards and take a tour of Shelburne Farms.  If you feel like getting your hands a little dirty I highly suggest going the Bread And Butter Farm to shop the fresh veggies and make sure to schedule an appointment with Henry’s Diary  (also on the same farm) so you can make cheese and check out his animals that live on the farm.

3. Mouthwatering Local Food

Vermont is a destination for all foodies. Vermont is best known for maple syrup, cheese, and ice cream. Dining in Vermont is amazing all food is made with local products and the freshest ingredients available, creating some of the tastiest dishes you’ll find anywhere. This place is a Foodies dream. I suggest eating everything, the bread to cheese tastes so fresh.
