Yep I Did My Own Faux Goddess Locs! Heres How And What I Used (Video)

Faux Locs / Goddess Locs are on high demand this summer. For my family trip to the Bahamas, I decided to give them a try so I installed them myself. After about 4 hours of the installing process I wanted to give up because this style is very time-consuming. Instead of giving up I just decided to crochet the back. It turned ok for my first go round but I knew as soon as I got back from vacation I was going try again. Why didn’t I just got have someone install them you ask, because this style is pretty pricey hair style $200+ and I did not have that extra money laying around.

My second set of locs turned out perfect. This time around I just used the crochet locs (Soft Dread Hair) and made my locs a little bigger. I can say that this process was a whole lot easier.  This style is very fun and can be edgy and there wasn’t to much tension on my edges.

I think it’s time to loc up my natural hair what do you guys think?

If you have any questions ask away, I’ll be updating my post over the next couple of days with your answers.
