A girl can never have enough denim in her closet, so when Eloquii reached out and asked me to give their denim a try my size 18/20 (sometimes 22) jumped for joy. When it comes to models rocking denim for product shots/campaigns I’m never sold on the picture. I’m the kind of girl who has to see someone either my size or bigger rocking the denim, that gives me a little hope that it will work on a larger body type like mine. Pictures can be so misleading at times, that’s why I encourage others to always try on the product when you can. With so many brands jumping to be the go-to retailer for denim I’m still not sold on one particular brand, but let’s see if I can add Eloquii to my list of faves for denim.
Eloquii was kind enough to send over 3 different pairs of denim for me to try. First up was the Straight Leg Jean, I’m normally not a straight leg kind of girl. I often find that straight leg jeans make me look too boxy, but my thoughts changed as soon as put these jeans on and started to play dress up. These jeans were super comfy, the way they sat up on the waist were perfect and let’s not forget about the tummy control ( yes yes yes). I’m 5’7 and I loved the length of these jeans. As far as styling I went with a 70’s inspired look (see picture below)
Next up we have the Honey Skinny jeans, I have to admit I wish these were a little skinnier, but I still loved the fit. If it wasn’t for my tummy I think I could have sized down and I would have had a better fit around my ankle making these jeans the perfect skinny jean. These jeans are great for dress down Fridays at the office or on the weekend.
Last but not least is the Denim Kady, omg as soon as I tried these on I went crazy. Can you believe that I’ve never rocked an ankle pant before, well not a denim ankle pant? These pants were like heaven, you can rock these straight from work to a dinner date.
It’s safe to say that I’m now adding Eloquii to my list of faves when it comes to denim. For the record, I’m wearing a size 20 in each pair and they are true to size (I was informed by the Eloquii team that all their denim fit true to size except for Supa Skinny that runs small and they suggest customers to go up one size). Check out my pictures and video below and let me know which look/jean is your fave. Shop Eloquii denim here .
