Would you ever want to be a size 8????

Starting Weight-274lbs Current Weight–231lbs Goal Weight 200lbs

Someone just asked me would I ever wanna be a size 8 ??? I had to sit and really think….. A size 8 would change my whole image…Being Plus size your already in a category and you stand out, but when it comes to being smaller I notice people tend to blend in among one another and to be honest I like being Plus Size you have others who look up to you for being who you are and making a statement with your ” style, confidence, class, and respect for yourself  and among others”  So to answer the questions being on this weight loss journey my goal was never to get down to a size 8, but to be healthy. Over all  I just wanted  to look better and feel better. I never set a goal to get down to 150lbs, that’s not realistic to me.  My goal never went beyond 190lbs and now that I am starting to see a difference, I re-set my goal for 200lbs…. Honestly I don’t even know if my confidence would be the same if I got down to a a size 8, not saying I might not make that goal for later in life but right now I’m happy with my current progress…..

Size 12 would be my ultimate goal. Right now its to get to 200 and then maintain and then lose my last 15 for an ultimate weight goal of 185. I may not reach a size 12 at that weight but I am happy that I pushed myself to become healthier!

I could have written this myself!! My starting weight was 289, and my current weight is 237. At first I'd decided that I wanted to get to 180, but as I lose weight, I think that 200 would be good for me as well. At 240 I'm in an 18 and some 16 bottoms–so I think that with 40 more lbs gone, I should be in a 12/14. The last time I was a 14, I was in 4th grade–so I am definitely looking forward to that. Congrats to all of you ladies on your weight loss!!
